If you are packing yourself please ensure the cartons are:
- Proper professional moving boxes
- Strong professional packing tape
- Ensure books/papers are only packed in ‘book boxes’
- Anything that fits into a standard moving carton should be packed into one
- Plastic tubs/moving bags are great for storage but not for moving (they don’t stack well and don’t absorb vibration like cardboard does)
- Ensure large cartons do NOT exceed over 25kg
- NOTE: self-packed cartons that exceed over 25kg are not safe to carry
